PREP Training exists to provide
hands-on programs designed to help faith-based communities strengthen emergency preparedness and connect more effectively with those they serve.
Training Programs
1
Courses
PREP Training has developed a series of instructional courses designed to introduce individuals and families to preparing for natural disasters and emergencies most common to East Texas. Designed as a tiered program, each course builds upon the foundation of the previous session to strengthen participants’ knowledge and readiness.
2
Seminars
Since the presentation of the first 'basic' PREP 101 course, there has been an observed need to provide more in-depth instruction on specific topics presented during the basic PREP Training Courses. What has resulted is a series of 2-3 hour intensive 'seminars' addressing single-topic subjects related to at least seven categories of preparation topics.
3
Workshops
Several seminars have been further developed into interactive Workshops, which maintain the educational depth of the traditional seminar format while adding a purposeful hands-on component. These workshops are intentionally designed for smaller groups, enabling stronger engagement and more personalized instruction.

Seminar:
"Will Artificial Intelligence (AI) Challenge Christianity?"
17 October
9:00 AM - Noon
Location: CCF Church Lindale
Dr. David Rolston is going to join us for an entirely new/updated seminar on Artificial Intelligence (AI) and the Church:
-
where it comes from
-
where we're at today, and
-
where we are rapidly headed
He has written a Rev 2.0 to his original book, Silicon Dominion: Will AI Challenge Christianity? , which has just recently been published by Trinity Broadcasting and will be ready for release just about the time of this seminar. Join us for this often confusing, sometimes controversial and still very relevant topic presented by one of the industry’s leading authorities.

Seminar:
Water Security
17 October
1:00 PM - 4:00PM
Location: CCF Church Lindale
This is one of our more popular seminars where we take an in-depth look at water catchment, filtration and treatment that you can implement in a relatively easy (non-technical) way to ensure sustainable water resources for you and your family as we look at the practical aspects of planning, constructing and maintaining a safe water supply.
